Finance Bay ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to your data.
All investment data you enter into Finance Bay — including transactions, account names, custom assets, and portfolio history — is stored exclusively in your personal iCloud account using CloudKit. This data is never transmitted to our servers. We have no access to it.
Because your data lives in your iCloud account, it is subject to Apple's iCloud privacy practices in addition to this policy. You can delete all Finance Bay data from iCloud at any time by removing the app's iCloud storage in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage.
Finance Bay collects a minimal amount of non-personal, anonymised data to improve the app:
None of this data includes your financial information, portfolio holdings, or personal identity.
Finance Bay retrieves real-time and historical market data (stock prices, news, company financials) from third-party data providers. These requests include the ticker symbols you view but are not linked to your identity or portfolio holdings.
Finance Bay contains no advertisements and does not participate in any advertising networks. Your data is never used for ad targeting or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

We do not integrate with Facebook, Google, or any advertising or tracking SDK.
Finance Bay is rated 4+ on the App Store and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require account creation or personal data submission of any kind.
Since we do not collect or store your personal investment data, there is nothing for us to delete or export on your behalf. To remove all Finance Bay data, simply delete the app and remove its iCloud storage from your device settings.

Finance Bay is available worldwide. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.
Because Finance Bay does not collect or store your personal investment data on our servers, most GDPR and CCPA rights (access, portability, deletion) are exercised directly through your iCloud account via Apple's privacy tools at privacy.apple.com. For any other privacy-related request, contact us at support@financebay.app and we will respond within 30 days.
We do not sell personal data as defined under CCPA. We do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent update. Continued use of Finance Bay after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
